The promotional journey for Sunshine After Rain continued with another memorable stop as I had the pleasure of being interviewed live on Sun City Radio in Portmore, Jamaica.

It was an opportunity not only to introduce my new single to listeners across Jamaica, but also to share the story behind the music, the inspiration for the song, and the journey that has brought me from The Bahamas to reggae's spiritual home.

Bringing Sunshine After Rain to Jamaican Radio

Every interview is different, but one thing remained constant throughout the conversation—music has the power to inspire, heal, and bring people together.

During the interview, I spoke about how Sunshine After Rain was inspired by the belief that life's greatest blessings often arrive after our most difficult seasons. The song is a reminder that hope, gratitude, and love can shine through even after the darkest storms.

Recorded at the legendary Anchor Recording Studio in Kingston, Jamaica, the single features an incredible lineup of Jamaican musicians whose contributions helped shape the warm, authentic lovers rock sound that listeners are now enjoying around the world.

A Conversation About Reggae, Faith, and Purpose

The interview went beyond simply promoting a new release.

We discussed my musical journey as a Bahamian reggae artist, my appreciation for Jamaica's tremendous influence on reggae music, and my desire to create songs that carry positive messages.

Music has always been more than entertainment for me—it's about encouraging people, uplifting spirits, and reminding listeners that brighter days are always ahead.

Those themes are woven throughout Sunshine After Rain, making it one of my most personal recordings to date.

Thank You to Sun City Radio

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the entire team at Sun City Radio for the warm welcome, professionalism, and the opportunity to share my music and story with their audience.

Thank you to the hosts, producers, technical staff, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the interview such an enjoyable experience.

Your support of independent reggae artists helps keep authentic Caribbean music alive and introduces new voices to listeners across Jamaica and beyond.
